Hello!
My name is Rebecca and I came to London with my Swedish school for a three-week practice. I got the opportunity to do my internship at Clareville Communications and this is my last week before I go back to Sweden.
Working at Clareville Communications has been an extremely good opportunity for me, I have learned so much. Before I came to Clareville I didn’t know anything about PR but I’m leaving with a great knowledge. Everyone working at Clareville has welcomed me with open arms and always included me in their work. From the very first minute I stepped in to the office I have had my hands full with interesting tasks, giving me no chance to roll my thumbs. Busy days, which I really appreciate working at Clareville. As a person I like challenges and I want to keep myself busy with things all the time, so working at Clareville has really suited me.
This is my first time in London so I was really excited but also nervous when I arrived at Gatwick airport. Everything was new, the city, the people, the language and the way of living. However, now I feel like I have lived here a long time and I don’t feel like the “new girl” anymore. London is a great city and I have also had the chance to explore it. My roommates and I went on a guiding tour one day visiting Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, London Eye and many other nice sights. Of course, we have also done a whole lot of shopping, visiting many good shopping places in London like Harrods and Selfridges and today we are going to the Thriller musical.
I would like to thank Clareville and all the wonderful people here for this opportunity and for giving me a lot of valuable knowledge for the future. I am really happy about my trip to London, I have enjoyed every part of it and gained a lot of experience. It’s with a large portion of sadness I soon return to Sweden but I’m not that worried because I know I will come back again. Until then, I’ll miss everyone at Clareville.
Rebecca Frisk
