Ferrying my son around to after school classes and clubs including maths, tennis and football I’m surprised how busy they all are seeing as we are in the midst of a recession.
If parents are having to make cut backs and sacrifices then it definitely isn’t on their child’s activities but perhaps rather the type of school they go to?
Maybe these parents that are sitting waiting for their little darlings to finish the latest class would normally send them to private school but due to financial restraints are now being forced to look at more local and free alternatives?
As a parent I’m hoping he gets into the ‘right’ secondary school and have already started making preparations such as the maths class I’m at right now. Worryingly my son is only 4 but even then he isn’t the youngest in the class.
